How can a man of knowledge hate his friends?

“The man of knowledge must be able not only to love his enemies but also to hate his friends.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche.

Sounds confusing, but an explanation below:  For me this quote by Nietzsche is addressing true objectivity.

Think of the “man of knowledge” as a referee in a football game. They love one team and hope that team will win.

But they have to be fair.

They can’t let their “hatred” of the one team or their love of the other influence the truth of a call. In this case they must learn to ‘love their enemy” (the other team) and “hate their friends” as a metaphor for the difficulty in staying in “What is true, regardless of your relationship to either side”.

A job scam was used to trick this woman into marrying a total stranger. Sounds funny buy she signed a marriage document thinking she was role playing and proving she could work as a wedding planner.

The woman has said she was told that she had to play the role of a bride in a simulated wedding as part of her training to be a wedding planner.

During the ceremony she and the man signed a genuine marriage document.

She only realised she was actually married after returning to Hong Kong, where she sought legal help.

Local police were unable to help due to a lack of evidence that a crime had taken place, so she approached the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (FTU).

"It's a new form of marriage scam," Tong Kamgyiu, director of the Rights and Benefits Committee of FTU, told the BBC.

"I feel disappointed and cannot believe it's even happening in modern Hong Kong."

She remains married for now and may have to apply for a divorce. It is unclear who the man she married is, or if he entered Hong Kong after the marriage.

"The 21 year-old lady was taken advantage of while she knew nothing about the circumstances," said Mr Tong.

"Her biggest loss is to have a marriage record and it has caused her psychological damage."

Each year, Hong Kong police see an average of 1000 cross-border marriage scam cases.

Chinese residents who are married to a Hong Kong partner are able to apply to reside in the city.

The controversy surrounding the release of the highly anticipated movie, Half of a Yellow Sun (HOAYS), in Nigerian cinemas is yet to end as the Nigerian movies Censors Board is yet to approve it.
Half of A Yellow Sun did not premier at Nigerian cinemas in April 25 due to the producers inability to obtain public viewing certification from the Censors Board.
The Board has, however, said it has not banned the movie, but is yet to approve it for public viewing in Nigeria.
One of the media handlers of the movie, Bigsam Media, assured that a new cinema date will be announced as soon as regulatory issues are sorted out.
The $10 million movie has made history as the first African movie to get international release dates in the U.K., U.S., Australia, Portugal, Middle East and New Zealand. It is also the first Nigerian movie to be premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada. It is already showing in the U.K.
The HOAYS Movie is an adaptation of Chimamanda Adiches bestselling and award winning novel of same title. It stars OSCAR nominee and BAFTA award winner, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton, Onyeka Onwenu, Genevieve Nnaji, OC Ukeje, Anika Noni Rose, Joseph Mawle, John Boyega, Wale Ojo, Tina Mba, Zack Orji and Hakeem Kae-Kazim.
It was directed by U.K.-based Nigerian playwright, Biyi Bandele, and was produced by winner of an OSCAR and three BAFTAs, Andrea Calderwood, and Yewande Sadiku, an investment banker.
