The Faithful Children is a novel by Izunna I. Okafor, a Young Nigerian Writer, poet and essayist who hails from Anambra State. It is his third book which was published in Nigeria in 2014.
It is a fictional and was set in a village of Umuekweogu and also partially set in a developed city of Lagos .
It fictionalizes a story of an indigent family of Mr. Nnadi and his wife Uloma who were so pauperized to the extent that they could not even afford to fend for their four children, let alone sponsoring them in the school.
The story upholds an old-century dictum that it pays to remain faithful even till the end of all faith.
These faithful children - Obigaadi, Chioma, Amaka and Ikenna took it upon themselves and suffered the great impediments encountered on their way to success untill they finally made it to their breakthrough.
It also tells the story of how Nigerian masters enslave and maltreat their apprentices and finally fire them back to the village without settlement especially through the die-minute spurious accusation and masterminded mischievious acts. The story is highly reccommended to all humans of any age bracket - studens, youth, Children and parents.
It is written in English Language and has recieved several outstanding recognition, nominations and awards since its publicaion in the 2014, and it is one of the best selling books written by the same Author Izunna I. Okafor.
