The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream
Author: Barack Obama
Genre: Contemporary
The Audacity of Hope is Barack Obama's call for a new kind of politics—a politics that builds upon those shared understandings that pull us together as Americans. Lucid in his vision of America's place in the world, refreshingly candid about his family life and his time in the Senate, Obama here sets out his political convictions and inspires us to trust in the dogged optimism that has long defined us and that is our best hope going forward. “Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
― Barack Obama
Obama isn't particularly concerned if his thoughts would hurt his political ambition and that's why he is a one of a kind president. He has visited a Federal prison, voiced out support for gay marriage, worked on amending immigration bill to help immigrants in the US. This man is just the CHANGE and this book is so great
